Terms & Conditions - the basics

By booking, scheduling, or receiving services from Sparklez Cleaning Company, you ("Client", "Business") agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before engaging our services.
1. Scope of Services
Sparklez Cleaning Company agrees to provide residential and/or commercial cleaning services as outlined in the booking confirmation, invoice, or service agreement. All services are performed in a professional and workmanlike manner consistent with industry standards.
Please note: Sparklez Cleaning Company does not provide the following services:

Organization or decluttering

Dog walking
-
Pet waste removal
-
Babysitting or childcare
We strictly adhere to cleaning the agreed-upon spaces only, as discussed and approved by the Client. This is both a professional standard and a safety measure to protect your property, family, and our staff.
For the safety of pets and children, we ask—very strictly—that cleanings be scheduled when children and animals are kept safely away from our equipment and cleaning products.
We do not clean, move, or disturb the following unless discussed in advance during the initial consultation:

Artwork or decorative installations

Paperwork or file areas
-
Office desks, electronics, or sensitive areas

Any client-identified private or restricted space
These boundaries help ensure a respectful, secure, and efficient service experience.
2. Access and Safety
Client must provide safe and unhindered access to the premises at the scheduled service time. If Sparklez Cleaning Company staff are unable to access the property or encounter unsafe conditions, the service may be rescheduled or canceled.
For the safety of our staff, we will not enter properties where loose animals (e.g., dogs, cats) are present and were not disclosed or secured in advance. It is the Client’s responsibility to notify us ahead of time if any pets will be on-site during service. Failure to do so may result in service refusal.
On occasion, Sparklez Cleaning Company may send more than one team member to work in groups of two teams for larger cleaning jobs. All our employees undergo background checks and are well-trained to perform their duties professionally and efficiently.
If there is any health concern or emergency, we ask that you immediately notify Betinia (the designated point of contact). Our team is always prepared to address any situation as quickly and safely as possible.
Working alone in a home or business is always conducted in a professional manner, maintaining the highest level of respect and care for your space.
3. Supplies and Equipment
Unless otherwise agreed upon, Sparklez Cleaning Company will supply all cleaning products and equipment necessary to complete the job.
As part of our cleaning process, we use the Prolux CTX vacuum system, which operates for most of the cleaning duration. This commercial-grade system not only provides deep cleaning but also purifies the air using water-based filtration and HEPA technology.
Please note that the Prolux system produces moderate operational noise. While generally non-intrusive, it may disrupt certain activities in residential or commercial environments. Out of respect for your routine and productivity, we request that services be scheduled during times that do not interfere with regular home or business operations. If accommodations are needed, please inform us in advance during booking.
4. Payment Terms
Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. Accepted payment methods include:

Cash

Zelle

Direct transfers (for residential clients)
For business clients, we require on-time payments via check either bi-weekly or monthly, as outlined in the written contract. Failure to make on-time payments for four or more instances may result in reconsideration of contracts and potential discontinuation of services.
5. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Sparklez Cleaning Company does not charge cancellation fees; however, out of respect for our schedule and other clients, we kindly request that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
Advance notice allows us to adjust our calendar and serve all clients more efficiently.
6. Refund Policy
Sparklez Cleaning Company does not offer refunds for completed services. However, if you are dissatisfied with any aspect of the cleaning, please notify us within 24 hours of your appointment. We will return and re-clean the specific areas of concern at no additional cost within a reasonable timeframe.
This re-clean policy ensures client satisfaction while maintaining fairness and service quality.
7. Damages and Liability
While Sparklez Cleaning Company takes great care in all services provided, we are not liable for:

Pre-existing damage

Items improperly secured prior to cleaning

Fragile or irreplaceable items not disclosed by the Client
Damage claims must be reported in writing within 24 hours of service completion. Sparklez Cleaning Company may, at its sole discretion, repair or replace damaged items proven to be directly caused by our staff.
8. Client Responsibilities
The Client agrees to:

Provide accurate information about the cleaning area

Remove valuables and fragile items from cleaning areas

Ensure a safe, respectful environment for staff

Disclose the presence of pets and ensure they are secured if necessary
Failure to comply may result in service delays, cancellations, or additional fees.
9. Force Majeure
Sparklez Cleaning Company shall not be held responsible for service delays or failures due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, accidents, illness, labor strikes, or power outages.
10. Termination of Services
Either party may terminate service by providing written notice. Sparklez Cleaning Company reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services at its discretion, especially in cases of unsafe conditions, harassment, or breach of these Terms.
11. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to seek resolution through informal negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be submitted to binding arbitration under the rules of the New York State Arbitration Association. The arbitration decision shall be final and enforceable in any court of competent jurisdiction.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions.
By using services provided by Sparklez Cleaning Company, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
